Mission Statement

The NAIC is committed to serving and celebrating the great Indo-Canadian Diaspora. The underlying philosophy that drives this not-for-profit organization is to give back to the community.

For the last 30 years, the NAIC has taken leadership role in helping new immigrants integrate with the Canadian way of life, support lower-income families, women and children, celebrate the extraordinary contributions of Indo-Canadians from various walks of life.

Manmohan Singh

President

Past president of Canadian Multicultural Council (Asians in Ontario), Lions Club – Missisauga Centre, veteran community leader Manmohan Singh is a very well-known community figure in the GTA for over 30 years. Known for his leadership roles with Carassauga Festival, Panorama India events, Peel Multicultural Council, The Indo-Canadian Gala Awards, Mr Singh retired as a renowned tax and business advisor.

Shail Prasad

Director

A renowned journalist for over 24 years, Shail Prasad has worked with the South Asian diaspora on a number of important issues. As a political scientist, Mr Prasad specializes in international relations. Recently he has been working with providing direct service delivery to seniors during covid-19. He has taken leadership roles in sports tourism and community-focused events.

Manoj Goyal

Director

Known for his appetite for numbers, tax consultant Manoj Goyal is a maverick of sorts. He has been serving the community with his expertise in accounting and corporate taxation. A humble man with great values. Mr Goyal is a committed to help a large number of Indo-Canadians.

Tony Marwah

Director

A well-known radio personality, Tony Marwah is a popular figure in the community. He has been helping the seniors raising their concern at the highest level. He is an avid volunteer and always committed to the South Asian community in the GTA.
